The therapist. Rivas holds a clinical license as a bicultural and multilingual social worker. She has more than 13 years' experience working within non-profits. She has worked in a variety of settings, such as dealing with LGBTQ+ individuals, people who suffer from substance abuse issues and survivors of sexual assault, as well as partners who were victimized.
